The A30 is part of our 30mm spindle line of cranks which also includes the M30, R30 and G30 models. The “A” stands for adventure and the “30” is for the 30mm spindle. While this may seem like a new model, it’s just the R30 road arms mated to the M30 mountain spindle, and we finally give it a name. This combo lives in that wide open world occupied by bikes that are neither road nor mountain* and can be the perfect solution when more chainring-to-chainstay clearance is needed, without the wider Q factor of the M30 crank.
